Musik

This post is about the danish childrens song contest, which took place yesterday evening. I just love it. I like the happy songs, and the fact that this is something we share as a family…

The winning song was really great (the kids write their own lyrics and music, but get help in producing and choreagrafi).

At some point we thought she was singing (I translate): when the party is over we’ll toga-bounce, call me tomorrow when you are up.

We never heard that expression before (assuming it means sleeping). We texted every teeenager we could to be sure of he expression, but noone had heard it before. (and we thought it was just us that were getting old)

Naturally – because it turns out she’s actually singing something else… hmmm. See the song here

I always thought it was “brown girl in the ring” instead of “brown girl in the rain!”
